This is my original design, hand-painted with acrylic paints on a 51% beeswax candle. The text on the scroll is the Easter Sequence Victimae Paschali Laudes, as the focus of the whole design is the Paschal Lamb "standing as it were slain"(Rev. 5:6). Inspiration for this design comes from late medieval manuscripts and the works of AWN Pugin.
The pieces of heraldry included in these pictures are all customisations, not part of the Glorious paschal candle design. But I'm always happy to add your heraldry, or any other customisation you would like!
Incense grains will be provided with the candle.
The price of the blank candle is included in the total cost, since I will need to purchase it from my supplier. Blank paschal candles cost $75-$510, depending on the size! Please contact me if you have a blank paschal candle you wish to provide.
