Medieval Vines Paschal Candle (Color Variation)

This is an original design, hand-painted with acrylic paints on a 51% beeswax candle. (This listing is for the variation of the Medieval Vines candle with a different colour scheme. For comparison, you can find the original Medieval Vines here.) You can choose what scene or image you would like to see depicted in the quatrefoil at the base of the design. The scene on the candle photographed for this listing is Christ meeting St. Mary Magdalene after the Resurrection. You can either choose to stay with that scene, or request anything you would like by writing your preference in the comments when you order your candle.

This design is inspired by the lovely floral decorations on the margins of medieval manuscripts. It also honors Our Lady in a special way with the text of the Regina Caeli handwritten on the scrolls among the flowering vines. 

Incense grains will be provided with the candle.

Please note - the heraldry in the last picture was a special customization and does not usually appear on the design. If you would like to request it, however, we can certainly add your heraldry to your candle. 

Breakdown of Cost:

• The base price (to cover the labor) of the Medieval Vines candle is $520. It takes approximately 18 hours to paint. 
• The price of the blank candle is included in this price, since I have to purchase it from a manufacturer. The price ranges from $37 (for the 1-1/2" x 34") to $240 (for the 3"x 60."
• Please note - some of the smaller sizes (1-1/2"x34", 1-15/16"x36", and 2"x8") are discounted on this design.
