This is an original design, hand-painted with acrylic paints on a 51% beeswax candle. 

This design is inspired by Romanesque floral decorations found in manuscripts and stained glass from the early medieval period. The richly decorated cross and medallions are inspired by Romanesque ecclesial metalwork and jewelry.
Incense grains will be provided with the candle.

Breakdown of Cost:

  • The base price (to cover the labor) of the Romanesque candle is $520. It takes approximately 18 hours to paint. 
  • The price of the blank candle is included in this price, since I have to purchase it from a manufacturer. The price ranges from $37 (for the 1-1/2" x 34") to $240 (for the 3"x 60.")

    Romanesque Paschal Candle

    Awesome artwork and support. First time ordering the candle as a gift for a church in Vietnam. Noticed there was no option for shipping to Vietnam so reached out for support. Laura was able to help and candle arrived safely to Vietnam. We had 2 small problems but none was Seller's. First the shipping fee is higher than website suggested and there was import tax when receiving item in Vietnam. Just want to mention it for any future buyers to be aware of. Thanks and highly recommended. Will look forward for future orders.
